Guidelines and Rules for28 th National Photography Competition

Subject:- 150th Birth Anniversary Of Shri Sardar Patel.  

1.      The competition is open to all Indian Citizens.  

2.      One Participant can send five photographs in each section.

3.      The competition will be conducted online. You do not have to send a print of the photo.

4.      No entry fee for competition.

5.      Participants should submit their application and photographs on website gujaratstatelalitkalaacademy.com from Dt. 26 Februray 2025 to Dt. 5 march 2025  till  11.59 pm.

6.      There will be first judging of the photographs submitted online on the website and selected participants will be informed by mail. The photographs selected in first judging will have to be submitted by participant at their own expense at Ravi Shankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Ahmedabad within stipulated timeframe and Photographs should be mounted and the mount size should be  16”*20” compulsory.

7.      The Prize winner photographs will be selected from the original photographs submitted at Gujarat  State Lalitkala Academy.

8.      An exhibition of all photographs requested will be held at Ravi Shankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Ahmadabad. 

9.      Each winner will be notified by e-mail or phone.

10. General corrections to the photograph will be considered valid, but computer aided editing will not be considered valid.
11. The raw file of the photograph should be sent in JPEG format and the size of the photograph should up to 6 MB.Photograph should be of 300 dpi and 2000 pixel. 
12. All photographs will be the property of Gujarat State Lalitkala Academy. Photographs requested at the academy will not be returned. The academy will have right to exhibit/publish the photographs, whenever it desires. 
13. Organization will take every possible care of the photographs but will not be responsible for any loss or damage of the same.  
14. Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy has the right to disqualify any entry without giving any explanation / reason.
15. Special care should be taken that the photograph should not contain any kind of offensive / threatening / false / misleading / insulting / harassing / indecent / obscene scene.

16. The photographer who submits the photo will be responsible for any future disputes or claims regarding the photo.
